Omar Khayyám (1048–1131) was a polymath: philosopher, mathematician, astronomer and poet. He also wrote treatises on mechanics, geography, mineralogy, music, climatology and theology. Out of respect for him, the organizers have named the exhibition, KHAYYAM EXHIBITION.
