SELF and FAMILY
From the early days of photography, people have been making images of themselves and those close to them. We are looking for images that continue this tradition and images that push the limits of this tradition.

JURORS | Yoav Friedlander and Dana Stirling are the co-founders and editors of Float Photo Magazine.
Float Photo Magazine was founded in March 2014 and was created with the goal to share and celebrate the photographic work of a versatile roster of contemporary photographers from around the world. In addition to their growing online and social platform, Float curates themed online magazine issues and various opportunities and platforms for exposure – Instagram takeovers, book reviews, artist interviews, curated online magazine issues, online and physical exhibitions and more.

ARTIST HONORS AND AWARDS: All selected artists’ work is included in the online exhibition complete with artist website links. There will also be projections of the exhibition that will coincide with October 2019 Center events. The Center provides exhibition press releases and social media promotions with an audience of 180,000+ followers internationally.

JUROR’S AWARD | Selected image will appear on the Center’s Home Page for the duration of the online exhibition.
DIRECTOR’S AWARD | One artist will be selected and The Center will produce a soft cover catalog of their work.
HONORABLE MENTIONS
TRAVEL SCHOLARSHIP | One artist will receive a $300 travel Stipend to attend the November 1st event and weekend immersion program. Applications for this award will be accepted after selections are made.

Public + Artists’ Reception | November 1, 2019

ARTIST IMMERSION SATURDAY: All selected artists are invited to join us for a one-on-one portfolio reviews with the Executive Director and a private portfolio share for artists to show and discuss their work, receive feedback and professional development advice. Exhibiting artists are welcome to join for all or part of the Saturday events. Free for exhibition participants.

ENTRY FEE
• MEMBER ENTRY FEE | $28 for six images.
• NON- MEMBER ENTRY FEE |$32 for the six images.
• ADDITIONAL IMAGES | may be submitted for $6 each for members and $7 each for non-members. There is no limit to the number of images that may be submitted.

MEMBERSHIP
• 1 YEAR MEMBERSHIP | $35 for Student/Senior and $50 for Individuals

Founded in 2004 by photographers in Fort Collins, Colorado, The Center for Fine Art Photography is a nonprofit 501(C)(3) photography organization. We provide support to photographic artists through exhibition, promotion, portfolio reviews, publication, education and connection to a large community of other artists, curators, gallery owners and photographic professionals.

Artists whose submissions are chosen for the exhibition grant The Center for Fine Art Photography the right to use their images for the purpose of promoting the artist, Center programs, exhibitions and subsequent display on the Center’s website of current and past exhibitions.  Artist’s recognition is provided with any use. Images may be placed on social media by The Center for Fine Art Photography with artist credit.
