VI Concurso de Fotografía `Jesús de Perceval`

1.      PARTICIPANTS
Everyone older than 16 years old can join the photography contest, either professionals or amateurs.

2.      TOPIC
The main topic during this 6th edition will be “Visual Poetry”, with the aim of studying and capturing the photographic language, composition and words expressed through pictures.
Every picture of this contest must capture and transmit visual expression, in other words, “talking with images”.

3.      INSCRIPTION
You can subscribe for free submitting only one picture per author.

4.      REQUIREMENTS AND PRESENTATION MODE
- The pictures must be submitted in digital format (JPG) with a minimum resolution of 3.000 pixels, either in black and white or in colour. The pictures must be unpublished and sent without watermarks, frames or signatures.
- The pictures need to be sent by WETRANSFER system (www.wetransfer.com) to the following email address: concurso.perceval@aytoroquetas.org.
The WeTransfer message must contain the following information:
Personal information: Name and Surname, address, date of birth, NIF or NIE, email address, telephone number and the title of the sent picture.
WARNING: JUST ONE WETRANSFER MESSAGE WITH CONTAINING ONLY ONE PICTURE PER PERSON WILL BE ALLOWED.
-      The pictures can be sent from Friday 20th October to Monday 20th November 2017.

5.      THE JURY
The jury will be made up by the representative bodies of sponsors together with the art and photography professionals selected by the organisation. They will choose the winners according to the criteria of creativity, imagination, quality, composition and originality.
The name of the winners will be published by the jury a week after the deadline of the contest.

6.      PRIZES
The prizes will be:
1st prize: 1.000 €
2nd prize: 600 €
3rd prize: 300 €
Provincial runner-up: 200 €
The prizes will be subject to the legally established retentions
If the winner of any of the tree first prizes happens to be from Almería, he or she will not receive the provincial runner-up prize.
The same day the jury announces the verdict, they will also let the winners know the date in which the prize ceremony takes place.

7.      PICTURES DESTINATION
The use of the pictures from this contest will be done according to the foundations established in the RDLeg 1/1996, 12th April, by which is approved the copyright law, subscribing in that case the appropriate document, respecting at all times the authors copyright in reference to their pictures.
The works selected will belong to the Roquetas de Mar Town Hall, which can replicate or use them in their publications and activities on behalf of the author. The unselected pictures will be part of a non-awarded storage of 30 pieces placed in the Santa Ana Castle, due to integrate the 6th Jesús de Perceval Photography Contest, which will take place in Autumn 2018.

The involvement in this contest means the full approval of the present contest conditions.
